WARNING: swearing!
There she is, Francis thought when he spotted you in the crowd entering the conference hall for another world conference. Your (lenght) (colour) hair swayed from side to side as you strode to your seat between Lovino and Feliciano.
You were very close to both of them and could consider them your best friends. You were cheerful and friendly to everyone, apart from the ones you despised. Sadly, Francis was one of the latter. He was sure you took it over from Lovino who hated him with every fiber of his heart.
But Francis was in love with you. At first he thought it was just his ever-present urge to make love to every human being, but even months after you rejected him rather harshly, he felt drawn to you, and he realised that he was in love with you.
You clearly didn't return his affections, but this was going to change soon, Francis just knew it.
He hoped so, at least.
He watched you as you took your seat and began to chat immediately with the two Italian brothers. He looked around when you looked around, too, to avoid making awkward eye contact. Whilst doing this, he saw his two friends Antonio and Gilbert giving him a thumbs-up and Arthur glaring at him disapprovingly. He couldn't care less about the latter and smiled at his friends.
He dreaded the moment the meeting ended.
And it finally came. Ludwig dismissed the persons present, and everyone packed their things. Antonio and Gilbert came over to Francis and talked to him – part of the plan. Francis needed to see your reaction when you found his letter.
The meeting ended – finally. Like always, there were no remarkable results.
You organized the documents you got during the conference and picked them up. A white envelope which was hidden beneath the stack of papers sailed onto the desk in front of your chair. There were roses drawn on it.
„Sbrigati! (Come on!)“ Feliciano urged you. „We-a wanted to eat-a out, (Name). Have you-a already forgotten?“
„No.“ you said, staring at the envelope. You smiled at Feli. „Go on ahead, I'll catch up to you. I need to go the toilet.“
„Bene. (Alright.) See you-a!“ He dragged his brother Lovino out of the conference hall.
You picked up the envelope warily, glancing at the Bad Touch Trio. The letter was from him, no doubt. You gathered your things and left the room, searching for the ladies' room to read the letter in peace.
Francis sat on the red blanket ontop of a hill which offered a wonderful view over the city and beneath a willow. He turned the bottle of exquisite wine in his hands, glancing nervously at his watch and waiting for you.
In the letter he wrote to you, he asked you to come on top of this hill at seven o'clock. There would be a surprise for you. Francis fervently hoped that you complied with his request even though you were already a quarter of an hour too late.
He felt his heart aching at the thought of you dumping him. He never was rejected before and he was especially afraid of you rejecting him. He loved you wholeheartedly. If he had you in his arms, he would give up his habit of picking up every single human being.
If he had you in his arms, he would be truly happy.
„Lovino, you twat! Don't you dare do this!“ you screamed at him. „You son of a –“
„(Name)!“ Feli cried out. „Calm down!“
„Calm down?! I can't calm down! Lovino, you can't do this! I love him!“
Lovino shook his head and snorted with rage. „Sì, certo! (Yes, of course!)“ he spat. „You don't love this bastardo! You are mistaken!“
„No, I'm not! Give me my car key! I'm already too late, because of you!“ You looked at the clock on the wall. Half an hour too late. „You'll so fucking regret this, Lovino.“ You lunged at him, snatched your car key he was holding and ran out of the house and to your car.
„Fratello, you can't force your hate for Francis on her.“ Feli said, watching you drive off.
Lovino sighed. „I tried, at least. I hope, they are happy. If he should do something, I swear I'll rip his heart out.“
Francis sighed. It was already seven forty-five. He doubted that you would come anymore. He stood up and began gathering his things: a bottle of wine, two glasses and a picnic basket with your favorite dish he made on his own. He would drive home where Antonio and Gilbert would be waiting for him, and then they would get drunk with him again, and everything would be back to normal.
Apart from the hole in Francis' heart, of course.
„Francis?“ you yelled at the top of your lungs. „Francis! Where are you? I'm terribly sorry that I'm late! This git Lovino held me back! Francis!“
You ran around, frantically looking for Francis. You had no idea where he was and which hill he meant. There were pretty many in this park. You cursed loudly and quickened your pace, constantly calling for Francis. You had a crush on him despite his perverted behaviour, but you kept your feelings bottled up because of Lovino and his hate for this man. You had planned on going to this meeting on top of a hill secretly, but Feliciano found the letter and read it out loud – of course.
Francis heard your voice calling for him from a distance. He froze and looked around. There you were, running around like a maniac and screaming his name over and over again. He waved you, and you dashed towards him, a bright smile on your face, crushing him in a tight hug.
„Oh, Francis, I'm so sorry! I was held back and I –“
„Je t'aime, (Name).“ He silenced you with a chaste kiss that marked the beginning of your long-lasting relationship. „I'm glad you came.“
„Je t'aime aussi, Francis. And I'm glad, too.“
„How about I make you scream my name like you did a minute ago?“

Now I'll take you by the hand
Hand you another drink
Drink it if you can
Can you spend a little time
Time is slipping away
Away from us so stay
Stay with me I can
Make you glad you came

Alright, I wouldn't say you were in the best of situations.
I mean, who likes sitting down for an hour long "educational" lecture in a classroom full of many different faces. But there was one face in particular you didn't mind.
That face belonged to man who went by the name of Francis Bonnefoy. You two were friends since middle school, when he moved from France. In fact, you were the first to actually talk to him. That made you reminisce about how you first met him.
