Hetalia!Boys x Reader: Chapter 103

After your last lesson ended, Gilbert comes to your desk in front of the blackboard and chats with you, but he scurries off as soon as Liz appears in the doorway, flinching when she clenches her fist and mumbling something unintelligible which makes Liz flash her eyes at him.

„What's up, Liz?“ you ask, grabbing your briefcase and walking up to her.

„There are two guys who asked for you.“ Liz responds, strolling down the hallway beside you.

You raise an eyebrow. „There are?“

„Yep. Feliciano and Lovino. The Vargas brothers. You know them, right?“

„Sure thing! Did they mention why they asked for me?“

„Nope. They're waiting for you outside on the yard.“ She stops at the door to the music hall. „See ya, (Name). Call me if you need a ride or help. I'll look after (Kitten's name).“

„Alright, thanks a lot. See you, Liz.“ You continue on your way towards the entrance.

Just as you round a corner, you hear doors being thrown open nearby and fast steps coming nearer. Someone yells: „Fermati! (Stop!) Are you fucking deaf?“ A second set of footsteps joins the other, clomping and fierce steps.

You bump into someone – or rather someone barges into you and tightly puts their arms around you, crushing your ribcage a little bit.

You groan. „Feli, I'm also really happy to see you again, but please, let me go. I can barely breathe.“

Feliciano lets go of you instantly, taking hold of your hand instead. „Ve! Scusi! (Sorry!)“

You straighten your blouse, smoothing out creases. „No problem, Feli.“

„Ciao. (Hey.)“ Lovino greets you, marching up behind his brother. He smacks Feliciano over the head, glaring at him. „Fucking listen to me next time. Don't just simply run off. I told you to wait outside, dammit.“

You smile at him warmly. „Don't be too hard on him, Lovi. Feli was just eager to see me again, right, Feli?“

Feliciano squeezes your hand, but it seems not for the reason you thought. Wrinkling his brow, he looks concerned, his gaze darting back and forth between Lovino and you.

Lovino huffs, folding his arms over his chest. „Whatever. Aren't you going to ask us why we're here, ragazza?“

You nod thoughtfully. „Oh, almost forgot. Of course. So, why're you here?“

„We want-a to invite you-a to ice cream!“ Feliciano pipes up. „There is-a this magnifica ice cream parlour-a. The ice cream there-a tastes meraviglioso. Do you-a want to come with-a us?“

You give them a radiant smile. „Sure. Thanks for having me!“

Lovino shrugs dismissively.

Feliciano beams at you. „Non c'è di che! (You're welcome!)“ He tugs at the sleeve of your shirt. „Dai! (Come on!)“

You follow them outside and to the parking lot of the university. You take a seat on the rear bench seat of their car while the brothers discuss who shall drive.

„You won't drive, fratello, that's for sure! Your pazzi driving skills will be the death of us!“ Lovino argues.

„But, fratello –“

„No fucking way.“

„Ve!“ Feliciano whines. „Lovi!“

„Don't call me that, for fuck's sake. I hate it!“

Feliciano gestures to you sitting in the car and watching them whilst trying to not giggle, looking at his brother in disbelief. „But the-a bella calls you-a that! I don't-a understand!“

Lovino grinds his teeth. „You don't have to. I'll drive, and that's that!“ He gets in the driver's seat and starts the engine.

Feliciano's gaze shift towards you, and you just shrug, not really knowing yourself why you are allowed to call Lovino „Lovi“ and no one else.
