Hetalia!Boys x Reader: Chapter 68

A towel winds itself around Matthias' neck, suffocating him and causing him to grasp it. Seconds later, the towel is loosened and disappears.

Matthias coughs and draws breath. „There was no need for that, Norge!“ he complains. „I haven't done anything!“

He is gruffly pushed forwards, just managing to catch himself.

Lukas slips past him. „You were obstructing the door.“ he replies matter-of-factly, sitting down beind you on the heightened bench.

Matthias recovers himself fast. Grinning, he plonks himself down on the bench right beside you, but this time, he doesn't even try to wrap an arm around your shoulders – surely due to Lukas being wary like a watch-dog. „Did you miss me, dronning? Hvordan går det? (How's it going?)“

„I'm doing great. And you?“

„S'm' h're. [Same here.]“ Berwald responds. He, Emil and Tino sit down at the same spots as yesterday.

You smile. „That's good hearing. I was afraid that I missed you, and I'm not even able to get in touch with you.“

„Then we should exchange numbers.“ Tino suggests, smiling widely. „What do you think, Swe?“

„Word!“ Matthias exclaims – a bit too eagerly.

Lukas looks at him with disapprovingly furrowed eyebrows, and for once you know what he is thinking, because you are thinking the same.

It suits Matthias fine to get your number under the pretext of staying in touch with each other.

„Mín vegna. (I don't mind.)“ Emil says.

„OK, that's settled then!“ Tino chirps. „We'll exchange numbers after we left the sauna!“

You nod, smiling. „Agreed.“

Twenty minutes later, you are standing with the five men outside the spa, exchanging mobile phone numbers, as a car pulls up behind you, blowing the horn – and you promptly know who is driving this car.

Rolling your eyes, you turn around. „Liz, I beg you to stop doing that. I'm right here, like five feet away from you. There's no need to beep at me.“

Liz waves you cheerfully, a gloating smirk spread over her lips. „Cooey, (Name)! C'mon, get in! I don't have all day, unlike you! Chop-chop!“

You scowl at her. „Gosh, Liz. Just a minute.“

Before you can turn around to bid farewell to your friends, an arm is wrapped around your shoulders.

„Are you free tonight, dronning?“ Matthias asks, grinning slyly.

„Yeah.“

Liz squints at Matthias warily. „What are you implying?“

„How about we go to that bar where we met? The drinks are on me, dronning!“

You ponder over this offer. On the one hand, you would have to leave (Kitten's name) alone at home for a few hours. On the other hand, you wouldn't have to stay at home and chill out on the couch, practically doing nothing.

„Well, it's your call, (Name).“ Liz murmurs. „I'd look after (Kitten's name).“

„Thanks, Liz.“

„Well, dronning? Hvad synes du? (What do you think?)“ Matthias questions.

„Yeah, sure.“ you answer, smiling at him.

„Skønt! (Awesome!)“ He clasps your wrist and pulls you toward Liz' car. „Kom nu! (Come on!) The night is still young, dronning!“ He climbs on the back seat and makes you sit down next to him. „Let's roll!“

Liz looks at him incredulous. „Why are you assuming that I'll bring you to this bar?“

„Because I am the King of Northern Europe, and I command you to bring us there!“

You nudge him with your elbow, shooting a piercing glance at him. „Liz, would you please bring us to the bar?“

Liz sighs. „Yeah, of course.“
